McCauley Joins UNC Golf Staff

GREELEY, Colo. – University of Northern Colorado Director of Golf, Clayton Sikorski, is pleased to announce the addition of Marty McCauley as Assistant Coach. McCauley will work with the men's and women's programs.
"We are very excited to add Coach Marty to our staff. I have known Marty for my entire coaching career, and he is not only an outstanding coach but also an outstanding human," Sikorski said. "He will provide a great experience and a wealth of knowledge to our student-athletes. This hire will help us elevate both programs for years to come. I am excited for Marty and his wife Sara to join the Bear family. Go Bears! "
McCauley is excited to join the program.
"I am very excited about joining the UNC staff and getting to work immediately to prepare for the upcoming season," McCauley said. "I'm thankful to Coach Sikorski and Athletic Director Darren Dunn for this opportunity and cannot wait to get to Greeley and be part of the Bear family."
McCauley joins UNC after a successful 13-year stint as the head women's golf coach at Oklahoma City University, an NAIA institution that competes in the Sooner Athletic Conference.
During his tenure, he coached 42 NAIA All-Americans and led the Stars to 41 team tournament championships. McCauley led the Stars to three NAIA Nationals Championships and nine Sooner Athletic Conference Championships.
Prior to OCU, McCauley was on the men's golf staff at Texas Tech. He coached five NCAA All-Americans and assisted with 10 team tournament championships. Guided the Red Raiders to four NCAA tournament bids and a 2010 NCAA tournament elite eight qualifier.
McCauley graduated from Wichita State University in 2002 and played on the men's team under Grier Jones.
