MORGAN HILL, Calif. -- The Northern Colorado men's golf team is set to begin NCAA regional play at The Institute Golf Club on Monday, May 15, in Morgan Hill, Calif. The regional consists of 13 teams and 10 individual players, competing over the three-day event.
Blake Danni will tee off first for the Bears at 8:20 a.m. (MT), followed by Alessio Battista at 8:31 a.m., Gage Messingham at 8:42 a.m., TJ Shehee at 8:53 a.m., and Jack Castiglia at 9:04 a.m.Â
Danni will be partnered with Jackson Rivera of USC and Sacramento State's Casey Leebrick, who advanced to the regional as the Big Sky's top individual from the conference championship in April. Battista's group includes Caleb Shetler from San Jose State and Pono Yanagi of Washington State. Messingham will golf the first round with Mahanth Chirravuri of USC and Julien Paltrinieri of Santa Clara. Shehee wil be partnered with Riley Lewis of Loyola Marymount and Javier Barcos of Utah. Castiglia is paired with Matthew Manganello and Matthew Sutherland, who are both from Fresno State.
Opening tee times begin at 6:30 a.m. (MT) each day with the last tee times beginning at 8:39 a.m.
