Bears Finish Decathlon on Second Day of Big Sky Champs

GREELEY, Colo. --Â Competition concluded in the decathlon and heptathlon on the second day of the 2023 Big Sky Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Thursday.Â
UNC's Steven Cross took sixth overall in the decathlon with 5920 points, while Jameson Rembert took ninth with 5174 points.
Cross' day was highlighted by his fourth-place finish in the 110m hurdles, and another fourth-place finish in the javelin.Â
The rest of the UNC track and field teams begin competition tomorrow, as individual events begin on the third day of the championships.
