Cross With Strong Showing on First Day

GREELEY, Colo. --Â The first day of the 2023 Big Sky outdoor championships kicked off on Wednesday, as the Bears had two competitors begin the decathlon.
Steven Cross won the 100m dash in the decathlon, and took third in the long jump, helping to propel him to fifth in the multi-event after the first day.Â
Jameson Rembert took second in the shot put, with a throw of 11.79m, and currently sits in 8th place in the decathlon after completing half of the events.
The decathlon and heptathlon finish their events tomorrow beginning at 10 a.m. (MT) back at Nottingham Field.
