GREELEY, Colo. -- The Northern Colorado women's golf team hits the links at the 2023 Big Sky Women's Golf Championship tomorrow morning at the Talking Stick Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz. Play takes place Monday through Wednesday in the 54-hole event.

Graduate student Marija Jucmane enters the championship leading the Bears with a 74.26 stroke average. The Riga, Lativa, native was recently named Second Team All-Big Sky for her performance this season. Jucmane has played in all nine tournaments for the Bears this season, and also leads the Bears with 62 birdies and 301 pars on the season.

Timbre Shehee is one of two other Bears that have played in all nine tournaments for the Bears this year. Shehee is scond on the team with a stroke average of 75.70, and is one birdie shy of Jucmane with 61.

Senior Amy Chitkoksoong is the third Bear to have played in all nine tournaments, and she is third on the team with an average of 77.26.

Carolina Fallotico enters the championship with a 78.67 average, but her third-round score of 69 at the Green Wave Fall Classic is the best single round score for the Bears this year.

Louise Dahl rounds out the lineup for the Bears, she heads to Arizona with a 77.27 stroke average having played in five tournaments for UNC this season.

Competition begins at 8 a.m. (MT) each morning. The Bears tee off on Monday beginning with Fallotico at 9:40 a.m.
