SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- The Northern Colorado women's golf team improved a position after the second round of competition at the 2023 Big Sky Women's Golf Championship on Tuesday. The Bears turned in a team score of 301 and improved to seventh place, surpassing Montana, with a two-round team score of 604.

Graduate student Marija Jucmane turned in the best score for the Bears on the day, shooting a 73, which included birdies on the 5th, 6th, 15th and 17th holes.

Freshman Louise Dahl moved into the team lead with a two-round score of 149 (+5) after shooting a 75 on the day. Fellow freshman Timbre Shehee sits three strokes behind Dahl with a two-round score of 152.

Carolina Fallotico is fourth among the Bears with a two-round score of 155, while Amy Chitkoksoong rounds out comptition for UNC with a score of 157.

The final round of competition begins tomorrow morning at 8 a.m. (MT). Chitkoksoong will start things off for the Bears with a tee time of 8:50 a.m.
