BROKEN ARROW, Okla. -- The Northern Colorado women's golf team placed fourth at the Oral Roberts Spring Invite on Tuesday. Graduate student Marija Jucmane led the Bears shooting par over the invite. Jucmane finished fifth overall after shooting two-under, which included three birdies, in the final round of competition.

The fourth-place finish is the highest team finish for the Bears this season, surpassing a fifth-place finish at the UAB Hoover Invite on Sept. 20. The Bears turned in a team score of 895 and had an 18-hole best of 297 in the first round. On Par 5s, the Bears were second best among the field, averaging 4.97 strokes.

Louise Dahl placed second among the Bears, turning in a 225 after 54 holes. Dahl shot an invite best of 73 in the second round, which included two birdies.

The Bears now set their sights on the Big Sky championships, being held APril 17-19 at Talking Stick Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz.
