Track Teams Set to Compete at Stanford and CSU

GREELEY, Colo. -- The Northern Colorado track and field teams are splitting up competition this weekend, with eight athletes competing at the Stanford Invitational in California this Friday-Saturday, March 31-April 1, while the bulk of the team heads up the road for the Jack Christensen Invite hosted by Colorado State on Saturday.
In Palo Alto, the Bears begin the meet withthe men's and women's 100m and 400m, the men's 110m hurdles, the women's 400m hurdles, and the women's 10km. On Saturday, competition wraps up with the men's and women's 200m, and the men's 800m.
In Fort Collins, a total of 27 athletes are set to compete in 21 events on Saturday. Fans can attend the Jack Christiansen Invitational with free admission and should enter through the north gate of Jack Christiansen Memorial Track at Colorado State upon entry.Â
