Jucmane Earns Weekly Honors from Big Sky

FARMINGTON, Utah – Northern Colorado women's golfer Marija Jucmane has been named the Big Sky's Women's Golfer of the Week, the league announced Wednesday.
Jucmane, a native of Riga Lativa, led the Bears at the Pizza Hut Lady Thunderbird Invitational this past weekend and helped UNC finish first among Big Sky teams at the invite.
The graduate student shot +6 for the weekend and tying for 11th overall at the invite. She recorded eight birdies over the weekend, including three during her one-under effort in the second round.
UNC's women's golf team heads to Arizona next weekend, March 18-19, for the NAU Red Rocks Invitational, hosted by Northern Arizona at the Oakcreek Country Club in Sedona, Ariz.
