Bears Close Out Regular Season with Senior Night on Monday

Opening Tip
• The Bears host senior night and fan appreciation night as the entertain Idaho State for the regular-season finale on Monday at 6 p.m. (MT) at Bank of Colorado Arena.
vs the Bengals
• The Bears are 18-15 in their Division I history against Idaho State, and is 11-6 at home against the Bengals. UNC has only won one of the last four meetings, but prior to that had an 8-game winning streak against ISU.
• Earlier this season, UNC face a 12-point deficit during the second half in Pocatello, but battled back to force OT against the Bengals on Dec. 31. Unfortunately UNC ended losing 90-83 in overtime. Dalton Knecht scored 29 and made a career-best 12 free throws. Daylen Kountz was second on the team with 19 points on the night. Northern Colorado attempted a season-high 32 free throws.
Last Time Out
• Northern Colorado returned home to host Northern Arizona this past Saturday, and despite tying the game five different times, UNC lost 85-82. The game marked the 17th time that Dalton Knecht has lead the Bears in scoring this season. In addition to Knecht, three other Bears were in double digits for scoring: Matt Johnson II (13), Daylen Kountz (12) and Riley Abercrombie (22). The Bears shot 53.7% from the field and out-rebounded NAU, 35-26. UNC's bench turned in 17 points for the contest.
Leading the Pack
• Senior guard Dalton Knecht has posted 17 games this season in which he has led the Bears in scoring.
• Through 29 games this season Knecht leads the Big Sky for scoring, averaging 20.1 points per game, which also ranks 24th in the nation. Knecht is third in the Big Sky for three-point percentage (38.8%).
Freshmen Bests
• Freshman Brock Wisne had a career-best night at Sacramento State (Jan. 12) putting up 12 points, shotting 5-for-11, including hitting one three pointer.
• Fellow freshman Langston Reynolds set career-highs in points (12), minutes played (17), field goals made (5), three-pointers made (2), and steals (1) in the loss to Montana State on Jan. 5.
