UNC Falls Short at No. 8 CU

BOULDER, Colo. – Delaynie Byrne scored a game-high 21 points as Northern Colorado fell at No. 8 Colorado Thursday afternoon from the CU Events Center.
Byrne's 21 points came on 6-for-11 shooting from the field, including 3-for-6 from beyond the arc. The Arvada, Colorado native also grabbed a game-high nine rebounds.
Seneca Hackley added 15 points and was 3-for-5 from three-point range.
Hannah Simental added nine points, and Gabi Fields helped with eight points and handed out a team-high five assists.
