GREELEY, Colo. – Northern Colorado (7-1) won the 2023 UNC Quad Duals with a perfect 3-0 record at Bank of Colorado Arena Sunday.

The Bears recorded a victory in each of the 30 bouts, with 21 different members of the team earning at least one triumph.

UNC recorded 13 contests by pinfall and added four tech falls against the three opponents. The Bears ended six matches early in the opener against Otero, before tacking on three pinfalls, three tech falls and a major decision against North Idaho. UNC closed the event with four pins and a tech fall against Northwest Kansas Tech.

FROM THE COACH
"It went just about as well as it could have today," associate head coach Garett Kiley said. "We were able to get 21 different wrestlers into action tonight and we won all 30 bouts. Many fresh faces cracked the lineup and gained invaluable experience competing at home. That is exactly why we do this event and I am happy with the effort from our student-athletes across the board.''
