Zerban and Erokhina Named MyGreeley.Com UNC Student-Athletes of the Week

GREELEY, Colo. – Vincent Zerban (wrestling) and Maria Erokhina (swimming & diving) were named the MyGreeley.Com UNC Student-Athletes of the Week.
Zerban remained unbeaten on the season in 12 bouts, with a major decision victory over No. 28 Caleb Dowling. Zerban worked a hard ride for the final 1:03 of the second period after the initial take down of the match. In the final stanza, he collected five more points, escaping from the down position eight seconds into the frame and earning another takedown. He added the riding time point and secured his fourth major victory of the season. He earned bonus points for the 10th time this season.
Erokhina won a pair of events, claiming the 100-yard breaststroke at NAU in a time of 1:02.76 and the 200 at GCU in a time of 2:13.96. She swam faster in the 100-yard breaststroke at GCU, placing second with a time of 1:02.38 at GCU. Erokhina added silver in the 100-yard IM 57.77.
