GREELEY, Colo. – The University of Northern Colorado men's basketball team returns to the Bank of Colorado Arena on Saturday for a non-conference match-up versus Cal-State Northridge.
UNC and CSUN
This is the third time the two programs will meet on the hardwood. The two teams met last season and UNC came away with a 70-63 road victory. Before that, the last meeting was the 2005-06 campaign, which was an 82-73 setback. This is the first meeting in Greeley.
Last season, the Bears had a trio score in double-digits. Daylen Kountz dropped a team-high 19 points, Matt Johnson added 18 points and Dalton Knecht helped with 16 points.

UNC dropped a close 74-72 decision at San Diego on Wednesday.
Riley Abercrombie scored a team-high 17 points, Brock Wisne added 15 points, and Jaron Rillie helped with 11 points. Abercrombie was 5-for-7 from three-point range and the Bears converted 10 three-pointers.
Thomas Named Big Sky Conference Co-Player of the Week
Saint Thomas was named the Big Sky Conference Co-Player of the Week for his accolades in Cancun.
Thomas collected the first Big Sky weekly honor of his career after his performances against Chicago State and Radford in the Cancun Challenge.
The Omaha, Neb., native averaged 20.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 2.0 steals, and 1.0 blocks per game, garnering an All-Cancun Challenge Mayan Division Tournament Team selection.
