Three Commit to UNC 2024 Volleyball's Recruiting Class

GREELEY, Colo. – University of Northern Colorado volleyball head coach Lyndsey Oates announced Madison Rink, Finley Schelhaas and Adeline Waller committed to join the Bears in 2024 Monday.
"We are very pleased with this signing class," Oates said. "They will add great depth to our returning group. All three are diligent students, athletic and great people. They fit right into the mold of what we are looking for in student-athletes to continue excellent volleyball."
Madison Rink | MB | 6-3 | Lincoln, Neb. | Lincoln Southwest High School
She is the daughter of Nathan and Jill Rink … has three siblings, Matthew, Emma and Hallie ... played club volleyball for VC Nebraska, coached by Maggie Griffin … helped her high school team to the Nebraska State Championship in 2023 … finished second at state in the shot put … owns a 4.3 GPA and plans on majoring in math.

"Maddie brings size and a great background of good volleyball experience," Oates said. "She came to our camp and we were impressed with her arm and lateral movements and feel like her best volleyball is ahead of her."
Finley Schelhaas | DS | 5-5 | Urbandale, Iowa | Des Moines Christian High School
She is the daughter of Nate and Jane Schelhaas … has one brother, Emmett … owns a 4.31 GPA and plans to major in biochemistry or biology … played club volleyball for Iowa Powerplex, coached by Ed Brogean.

Adeline Waller | S | 5-10 | Castle Pines, Colo. | Rock Canyon High School
She is the daughter of Nathan and Heather Waller … has two siblings, Reese and Luke … played club volleyball for Colorado Juniors, coached by Sheri Hawkins … owns a 3.7 GPA and plans on majoring in business or marketing.

Addie has a big upside, and we feel once she is surrounded by talented players around her, she will continue to excel."
