Jacob Stanton, Maddie Smith Earn MyGreeley.Com UNC Student-Athletes of the Week

GREELEY, Colo. – Jacob Stanton (football) and Maddie Smith (soccer) were named the MyGreeley.Com UNC Student-Athletes of the Week for their performances on the field for the week of September 25 – October 1. .
Stanton had a standout performance for the Bears versus Weber State. A Thornton, Colorado native, Stanton added a career-high 12 tackles, five solo, and seven assists. Stanton also recorded an interception for the first time in his career.
Smith made her second and third career starts, allowing one goal in 180 minutes over the weekend, helping the Bears to a pair of draws. She recorded her first career clean sheet Sunday against Weber State.
