UNC Earns Draw against Weber State

GREELEY, Colo. – University of Northern Colorado earned a 0-0 draw against Weber State at Jackson Stadium Sunday.
The Bears collected a point in each of the last three games, recording ties in those contests.
UNC started the first half with shots from Lexi Tuite, Lauren Woodhull and Melina Faris. Weber State recorded three shots including three shots on goal. The teams went to the locker room with nothing on the scoreboard. Maddie Smith made two saves in the first half.
In the second half, Brooke Holmberg got in the action recording two shots, including one shot on goal late in the second half. However, both defenses stayed strong throughout the second half, ending in the draw. Smith recorded her first solo shutout in her career.
