GREELEY, Colo.   – No.9-Mid Major Northern Colorado crushed No.7-Mid Major Cal Poly 25-9 and improved to 9-1 on the season.

No. 1-ranked Andrew Alirez (141) improved to 13-0 on the season with a pinfall over Lawrence Saenz.

In a battle between No. 20 Stevo Poulin (125) and No. 23 Antonio Lorenzo, Poulin earned a hard-fought 3-1 decision.

Vinny Zerban (125), who entered ranked No. 32, secured a 3-0 decision over Luka Wick.

No. 22-ranked Andrew Berreyesa rolled to an 8-2 decision over Brawley Lamer.

Baylor Fernandes secured an upset over No. 31 Legend Lamer 8-2.

"I thought it was a good dual and we wrestled well. Anytime you come away with a win you want to feel good about it, but particularly I was happy about how we wrestled and how we competed. Really seeing guys like Baylor Fernandez get tough at the end of a match and beat a ranked opponent. We are a very young team and it's nice to see the progress being made."
