Bears Claim Second, Three Finish in the Top 15

Blake Danni’s All-Tournament performance leads Bears to second place
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Northern Colorado Men's Golf used a day two surge to finish second at the 2022 Big Sky Golf Championships. Blake Danni led the team earning All-Tournament honors tying for fourth. Meanwhile, Jack Castiglia and TJ Shehee finished tied for eighth and 13th, respectively.
The Bears jumped from sixth to third on day 2 of the tournament at Talking Stick Golf Club with an even-par, 280.
Danni had the best round of the tournament for Northern Colorado that day shooting a 1-under, 69. He finished the week at 5-over, 215. Danni closed the tournament with an even-par 70.
UNC ended just one stroke behind champion Weber State on the final leaderboard with a 25-over, 865.
Castiglia shot a 7-over, 217 while Shehee finished with a 219 for 9-over.
