Matias Koropeski Earns Weekly Honors

FARMINGTON, Utah – Northern Colorado men's golfer Matias Koropeski has been named Co-Men's Golfer of the Week, the league office announced Wednesday.
The honor marks Koropeski's first of the 2025–26 season, coming after a standout performance at the Shark Invitational where he placed fourth on the individual leader board and helped the Bears secure the team title with a crucial par on the playoff hole. Koropeski led Northern Colorado in the final round, firing a 2-under 68. He opened with a 32 on the front nine before closing with a 36 on the back to pace the Bears down the stretch.
A junior from Posadas, Argentina, Koropeski has emerged as a key contributor for the UNC men's golf program, delivering consistent performances in recent tournaments.
