Soccer ends successful Spring Season in Boulder

Alumni Game postponed to Fall
GREELEY, Colo. – After another exciting weekend of Soccer at Jackson Stadium, Northern Colorado will wrap up its Spring season in Boulder with an eye on the Spring Colorado Cup.
UNC will face the Buffaloes, Air Force and Denver in a round-robin affair at Prentup Field Saturday, April 23 beginning at 11 a.m. MT.
"This month has provided us with everything we could have hoped for," said head coach Tim Barrera. "We've been able to provide our players with valuable minutes and develop important chemistry as we build up for next Fall.
"We're coming off two 0-0 games against Mines and CSU Pueblo and I couldn't be happier with how our defense has solidified in those matchups. This weekend should provide a stern test and I am looking forward to seeing the progress we've made."
Saturday's tripleheader in Boulder will mark the end of the 2022 Spring season for the Bears. The annual Alumni Game slated for Sunday, April 24 has been postponed until the fall. Details on the game will come at a later date.
"With the 50th Anniversary of Title IX in Fall, we wanted to make sure our distinguished Alumni could be part of the celebration as well as other events the University has planned," said Barrera. "We can't wait to host everyone for a great even in the Fall!"
