Baseball's road stint comes to an end at Saint Louis

SAINT LOUIS, Mo. – It just wasn't Northern Colorado's day in its final contest of the four-game set against the Billikens.
UNC fell behind early and couldn't find a groove at the plate, falling to Saint Louis 13-0.
SLU scored two runs in the first but a four-spot in the fourth and seven an inning later proved too much for the Bears to overcome.
Starter Dylan Day secured his best outing of the year. Pitching a season-high 4.0 innings, Day struck out six and allowed six runs but only one of them was earned.
Freshman Jake King put together inarguably the best weekend of any Bear. King went 1-1 and a hit-by-pitch, stretching his hitting streak to four games. The Buckeye, Arizona native is also just one hit behind Josh Glenn for the team lead.
Sam Colehower also pitched a solid 1.1 innings. Giving up just one run, Colehower also struck out two.

Iwasaki and the Bears finally return to Greeley on March 11 for a series with Mount Marty College.
