Fleiner Performs Best for Bears in Final Round of Lady Thunderbird Invite

UNC finished in 12th place at the tournament
ST. GEORGE, Utah – Northern Colorado women's golf closed out the Southern Utah Lady Thunderbird Invite on Saturday shooting a 31-over, 319.
One Bear finished the day shooting in the 70s in Abbi Fleiner. The junior shot a 6-over, 78 on Saturday. Fleiner led the team with three birdies on her scorecard. She finished tied for 57th with a 23-over 239.
Camila Velasquez had the best individual finish for Northern Colorado with an 18-over 234. She shot a final round 8-over, 80.
Northern Colorado finished 12th on the team leaderboard.
What's Ahead
UNC returns to the course March 19-20 at the Redrocks Invitational hosted by Northern Arizona. The tournament will be held in Sedona at the Oakcreek CC.
