MANHATTAN, Kan.—Going toe-to-toe against a team that has broken into the top 25 on a pair of occasions this season, Northern Colorado fell to Kansas State, 69-57, on Sunday afternoon.
With the win Kansas State improved to 10-3 on the season while Northern Colorado (7-3) sees its four-game winning streak come to an end.
Once down 15 midway through the second quarter, UNC held the Wildcats without a field goal for nearly a four-minutes stretch to pull within five (41-36) at the break.
