Men’s Golf Inks Italian Pietro Boeris

GREELEY, Colo.- Northern Colorado Men's Golf and Director of Golf Clayton Sikorski scoured the globe to bring top international talent to Greeley with the addition of Pietro Boeris to the roster next year.
Boeris comes to UNC from Pinerolo, Italy where he attends Maria Immacolata Institute.
Boeris brings an impressive repertoire of accolades with him to Northern Colorado, as the No. 4-ranked junior in Italy and the No. 68-ranked junior in all of Europe. He is also currently a member of the Italian Junior National Team and has been a model of consistency, tabbing 18 top-20 finishes in events since 2021.
In 2021, Boeris also entered the World Amateur Golf Rankings thanks to a win at Gara Nazional Rapallo with scores of 65, 67, and 69. He also earned a 12th-place finish in the Spanish U18 Championship.
His most recent 2022 season also boasted major accomplishments. These include finishing top five in the Italian U18 Match Play Championship, ninth place in the Italian National Stroke Play Championship, and top eight in the Italian U18 Match Play Championship.
Boeris also concluded his 2022 season in Italy with a second-place finish in the Trofeo Glauco Lolli Ghetti with rounds of 68, 72, 68, and 72.
"We are very thrilled to add Pietro to our team. It's always great to add another member of a national team," Sikorski said. "Pietro has been incredibly consistent since the start of the 2021 season and he will be a fantastic addition to our young team for next year. Excited to get him in Greeley! Go Bears!"
