Dotson, Zinicola cross the 100-yard barriers against UC Davis

Dotson tallied 27 carries on the day for 184 yards on the ground. The graduate transfer added 29 yards on four catches to total 213 of total offense.
Northern Colorado (2-6, 1-4 Big Sky) opened the game's account with a 37-yard field goal by Devin Bale on the initial drive of the afternoon at Nottingham Field.
UC Davis (3-4, 2-2 Big Sky) countered with a field goal of their own on their first possession and later settled for a second kick by Isaiah Gomez, this time from 46 yards, after a successful UNC defensive stand to make it a 6-3 contest.
The Aggies owned the second quarter and extended its lead with a trio of touchdowns by halftime en route to the 58-10 win.
In addition to Dotson's exploits, the UNC aerial attacked gained a boost from Zain Zinicola, who tallied 116 yards on seven catches, including a 32-yard over the shoulder touchdown grab on the first play of the fourth quarter.
The Bears will take a bye week next Saturday before traveling to face Portland State on Nov. 5.
