UNC men's basketball earned the 87-70 win in their first game in 11-days
MOSCOW, Idaho – Northern Colorado men's basketball showed no rust coming off an 11-day break defeating Idaho on the road 87-70. They never trailed in the game. The win improves UNC's record to 9-8 overall and 4-1 in the Big Sky.
Four Bears finished the game in double figures scoring led by Bodie Hume and his 25 points. Joining him were Daylen Kountz (16), Dalton Knecht (15) and Dru Kuxhausen (11).
Northern Colorado's offense was close to unstoppable in the first half shooting 66.7% leading to a 46-39 lead at the break. It was an 11-0 run midway through the first half that helped the Bears take control of the game.
In the second half, UNC used another big run to put it away. This one, 13-0, extended the lead from six to 19. Knecht led the charge during the run with eight points during it.
