ST. GEORGE, Utah – Josh Glenn eclipsed the 40 RBI mark for the season with a three-run shot in the first but it wasn't enough as Dixie State closed out its fourth win of the series, 9-6.

In arguably the most pressure-packed game of the season for the Bears, leave it to team RBI-leader Josh Glenn to make an impact.

Swinging on the second pitch he saw, Glenn hit a towering three-run home run to left field, giving the Bears a spark to kick off Saturday.

The Draper, Utah native would finish 2-3 with two runs and three RBI, 42 on the season.

Dixie State cut into the lead, scoring a run in both the bottom of the first and in the home half of the second.

Capitalizing on a couple of walks in the third, though, Northern Colorado was able to push across a fourth run when Ben McKay earned a free pass.

Two more hits from the Trailblazer led to one more run, tying the game at four.

Freshman Dylan Day pitched another solid performance, going 3.2 innings and surrendering just two runs.

The game broke open in the seventh inning when Dixie State struck for four runs on four hits.

All of the sudden, Northern Colorado needed a quick rally to get back in the game with time running out.

Its spark came by the way of Johnny Graham. With Josh Glenn already aboard with a double, Graham launched just his second home run of the season to pull the Bears within two, 8-6.

After the Trailblazers added one insurance run in the eighth, DSU only needed three out to secure its fourth win of the series.

Two Dixie State pitchers combined for a 1-2-3 inning as the Bears dropped its final game of the year, 9-6.
