FARMINGTON, Utah – Northern Colorado Volleyball's marathon of matches on Wednesday featured a number of bright performances. None shone better, though, than junior libero Kyndall Feather who has been rewarded with her second Big Sky Defensive Player of the Week honors.
The Sterling, Colorado native kicked off the doubleheader against Northern Arizona with a career-high 28 digs in the five-set thriller. She would also add ace and five assists in the win.
As the Bears went on to sweep the Lumberjacks later that evening, Feather's performance level never wavered. Her four aces in game two were a season-high from the service line.
In total, she collected 46 digs, eight assists, five aces. Across UNCs eight sets, Feather averaged an astronomical 5.75 digs per set.
This is the second time Feather has picked up the award, previously winning after another colossal weekend against Eastern Washington.
Northern Colorado heads off to Moscow, Idaho for its final regular-season matches against the Vandals. Sunday's contest is set for 3 p.m. MT, while Monday's is slated for 7 p.m. MT.
