Northern Colorado returns to the court after a two-week hiatus following its back-to-back sweeps of Idaho State.
With both of its wins over the Bengals, UNC extended its road win streak to six this season. In fact, Northern Colorado has won 10-straight road matches dating back to October of 2019 when they fell to NAU in Flagstaff.
The Bears and Lumberjacks enter the weekend tied for third in the Big Sky Conference standings with identical 9-3 records.
In its second match against the Bengals, Northern Colorado hit a remarkable .316, its second-best hitting percentage of the season.
UNC's aggressive serving continues to pay dividends. The Bears rank first in the conference in aces per set with 2.07. That mark is also 16th-best in the nation.
Head coach Lyndsey Oates' offensive is also rolling. At 13.27 kills per set, Northern Colorado is best in the Big Sky and ranked 72nd in the country.
The number one reason the offense is finding its rhythm has been the play of senior setter Daisy Schultz. Schultz is assisting at a clip of 10.36 assists per set, best in the Big Sky and No. 45 in the nation.
Senior middle blocker Lauren Hinrichs has started to find her groove. Hitting .352, Hinrichs is No. 2 in the conference in the category and No. 94 in the country.
Last Time Out
Northern Colorado wasted little time in Pocatello. Earning two sweeps, the Bears got back to its winning ways.

As a team, the Lumberjacks are No. 1 in the conference in hitting percentage and opponent hitting percentage.
History Against the Lumberjacks
Northern Colorado has enjoyed the majority of the riches in this matchup. All-time, UNC owns a 17-9 record against NAU.
