Golf starts to find its groove Sunday

UNC men's golf settled into their games Saturday
PALM DESERT, Calif. – UNC men's golf found its groove on the course Saturday. The Bears might not have gained any ground on the leader board, but the consistency in their game was noticeable on Saturday.
Jack Castiglia once again led the charge for UNC with a 1-under, 71. The Bears started on the 10th hole and Castiglia made the turn at 2-under. He placed four birdies on his scorecard moving up to a tie for 38th going into the final round.
Senior Marcus Tait didn't record a birdie on Saturday, but he also didn't have a score worse than bogey either. The Littleton, Colorado native ended the day with a 3-over, 75.
Blake Danni was also consistent on the day on his way to a 4-over, 76. He placed two birdies on his scorecard and 12 pars.
Prenzlow's Perspective
It was good to see the guys play a commendable round! Jack was solid all day, Westin, Marcus and Blake all did some nice things and hung in there the entire round. A severe wind came up in the latter part of the day and cost us some shots. We still need to adapt to conditions and relax throughout the entire round.
What's Ahead
Northern Colorado looks to keep the momentum rolling into Sunday's final round. Sunday's round is a 9 am MT shotgun start with UNC teeing off on holes 13-15. Live results of the round can be found on GolfStat.com.
