Volleyball rebounds with sweep over Montana State

State GREELEY, Colo. – Back on track.
After losing in three sets to Montana State just 24-hours prior, Northern Colorado returned the favor with a resounding sweep, 3-0 (25-18, 28-26, 25-22).
Though Montana State raced out to an early lead, the Bears responded quickly and swiftly.
Almost immediately, UNC's right-side attack found its rhythm. The tandem of Rachel Hickman and Lauren Hinrichs caused problems early and often.
MSU rallied back to briefly take the lead late but stellar serving from Michaela Boon helped the Bears rattle off nine points to close it out.
Kailey Jo Ince (7 kills) and Taylor Muff (8 Kills) added variation from the left side.
Defensively, the Bears' improvement from a day ago would not go unnoticed. Northern Colorado mustered a .938 reception percentage, Muff and Schultz led the way with nine digs apiece and the team racked up nine blocks.

Northern Colorado hits the road for the first time this season. The Bears will face Eastern Washington next Sunday and Monday. The matches are set for 3 p.m. MT each day.
