Bears Begin Regular Season Home Stretch, Host Griz Wednesday

Northern Colorado will look to sweep the season series against Montana
The regular season is winding down and Northern Colorado women's basketball is back at home for its final two games.

Opening Tip
Northern Colorado snapped their losing streak on Saturday with a 67-61 win over Eastern Washington on the road. UNC outscored the Eagles 45-29 in the second half to push the team to victory. The Bears had a season-low, six turnovers in the game and scored 20 points off Eastern Washington's mistakes.

Micayla Isenbart matched her career-high with 24 points on 9-of-15 shooting against EWU. Isenbart recorded a career high, six made three-pointers on 12 attempts.

Alisha Davis scored 19 points and had eight rebounds in the win over the Eagles. Davis is now 16 rebounds away from the program freshman rebound record.

This week will mark the final home games for UNC's three seniors, Abby Kain, Ali Meyer and Bridget Hintz.
Scouting the Griz
Montana holds a 11-7 record in the Big Sky and sits at fifth in the conference. They are 16-11 overall this season. The Griz won a pair of home games last weekend, starting with a 70-57 win over Northern Arizona. Montana then dominated Sacramento State, 90-45. McKenzie Johnston leads the Griz with 12.9 points per game and is shooting a strong 44.7 percent from the floor. Emma Stockholm leads Montana with 5.9 rebounds per game, while also adding 11.0 points per game and a 41.6 shooting percentage.

Northern Colorado is 13-17 against Montana in program history. UNC is 5-7 in Greeley and 7-9 in Missoula, while going 1-1 at neutral sites. UNC defeated the Griz earlier this season, 67-58 in Missoula. UNC had five players score in double-figures, with Jasmine Gayles scoring 14.
