Welch finished tied for 12th in the tournament shooting an even-par 213. He shot a 3-under, 68 during Monday's second round with just one bogey to his four birdies. That shot him up the leaderboard from tied for 31st to tied for 12th. During the final day, he shot a 1-over, 72. He once again had four birdies on his scorecard.

Freshman TJ Shehee shot under-par for the end the Bandon Dunes Championship with a 2-under, 69. Shehee put together a solid round with five birdies on his scorecard. He was one of the players to tie Tait for 59th overall with a 223.
Prenzlow's Perspective
"We had a chance to play a really nice round but struggled towards the end when the wind kicked up! This is a really tough golf course in the wind. Coby played another nice event, all the others had nice rounds but we really need to work on the things that add up to two or three really good rounds per tournament. TJ was excellent today, it is fun watching him get better! Jack and Marcus looked better this week and Logan for a first tournament freshman did some good things."
What's Ahead
UNC is off until April 6-7 when they travel to Montgomery, Texas to compete in the Bearkat Invitation hosted by Sam Houston State.
