Last Time Out
Northern Colorado led from start to finish at Southern Utah in a 68-60 victory. The Bears made 10 3-pointers compared to holding to SUU to just two.

Five UNC players finished in double figures scoring led by Kai Edwards 17 points off the bench. He was two rebounds shy of a double-double.

Scouting the Vikings
Portland State likes to push the pace averaging 76.8 points per game on the year and have topped 80 points nine times. In Big Sky play the Vikings are averaging 73.6 points.

Holland "Boo Boo" Woods leads PSU's offense averaging 17.6 points per game ranking fifth in the Big Sky. The junior is already the Portland State all-time leader in assists and steals and ranks in the top 10 for points.

The Vikings not only push the pace on offense, but defense too pressuring opponents and grabbing 8.3 steals per game.

History against Portland State
Portland State owned the series with Northern Colorado early on to earn the 18-11 edge. The series has tilted towards the Bears in recent history as Jeff Linder is 5-1 against PSU since taking over at UNC in 2016-17.

On This Date
Northern Colorado is 7-12 when playing on February 10. The Bears do holding a winning record when at home at 5-4.

Around the Big Sky
The team with the better record won in four of the five games in the Big Sky Conference games on Saturday. The lone upset came with Weber State defeating Northern Arizona 76-70. UM is a game ahead of UNC for first place and EWU is a half game ahead of the Bears for second place.

What's Ahead
UNC is on the road for a pair of games next week at Northern Arizona Thursday and Sacramento State Saturday. The Bears and Lumberjacks tip-off at 6 pm MT on Thursday.
