Northern Colorado looks to build a winning streak at Bank of Colorado Arena
Northern Colorado women's basketball is back at home after going 1-1 in its first conference road trip of the season. UNC will play one game at home before returning to the road in two weeks.

Northern Colorado defeated Montana on Saturday afternoon, 67-58, to split its first Big Sky road trip. The Bears five starters all scored in double figures, led by Jasmine Gayles 14. UNC's defense was again solid, holding the Griz to 30.5 percent shooting. The Bears built a six-point lead after the first quarter, but would tie with Montana in second quarter, taking the lead into halftime. The Griz cut the lead by one in third quarter, but UNC put the game away in the fourth.

Alexis Chapman leads UNC with 13.2 points per game, posting double-digit scoring in five consecutive games. Chapman is shooting 33.3 percent from the floor and 30.6 percent from three.

Weber St. is currently on a three-game losing streak. Liz Graves is the Wildcats leading scorer, with a 13.3 points per game average. Ula Chamberlin follows Graves with a 10.3 points per game average. Kayla Watkins leads the Wildcats in the paint, averaging 6.7 rebounds per game.
