UNC men's basketball looks to take second place by themselves Monday night

Eastern Washington has one of the best offenses in the nation averaging 83.1 points per game to rank third overall. The Eagles scored a Big Sky record 146 points earlier this season against Multnomah.Â
The coaches pick as the preseason favorite in the Big Sky, EWU has a three-headed scoring monster in Jacob Davison, Mason Peatling and Kim Aiken.Â
Davison leads the team with 17.5 points per game while Peatling adds in 15.8 and Aiken 14.9.Â
While the Eagles can score the ball in bunches they also give up a lot of points. Opponents are scoring 75.1 points per game and shooting 42.7 percent against them. In Big Sky play EWU has only made it to 80 points once and that took overtime against Southern Utah.Â

As members of the Big Sky conference Northern Colorado and Eastern Washington have split their previous 24 meetings. EWU holds the slight overall lead in the series winning the only other game between the two programs in 1971.Â
