Bears Women’s Tennis Drops Match at Air Force

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Sunday afternoon's match against Air Force was a tough one for the Bears, who fell to the Falcons 7-0.
"We fought hard today, but they were too good. This match will help us down the road." That last sentence from Head Coach Chad Stoloff is what the Bears will take out of today's contest.
The Bears did get a win in the No. 3 doubles spot from Sandra Keta/Natalie Stanton who defeated their opponents Fitch/Alda, 6-2.
In No. 1 doubles, Raffa Mora/Milena Belianovich fell 6-1, and in No. 2 doubles Madison Wolfe/Synclair Larson fell 6-3.
In singles play, Sandra Keta fell to Fumagalli 6-2, 6-0 in the No. 1 spot, Milena Belianovich fell to Jones 6-1, 6-3 in the No. 2 spot.
Raffa Mora fell to Lieberman in the No. 3 spot 7-6 (4), 6-2, and Madison Wolfe fell to Warner 6-0, 6-2 in the No. 4 spot.
In the No. 5 spot, Sarina Chhabra fell to Fitch 6-1, 6-1. Synclair Larson fell to Kuo in the No. 6 spot 6-4, 6-3.
Next weekend the Bears will play a pair of big matches when they travel to Boulder on February 1st to take on the University of Colorado, and host their first home match of the season when they play Boise State the following day in Parker.
