It's Kids Day inside Bank of Colorado Arena! Kids 13 years old and younger can receive free admission to the game with a paid adult! Enjoy UNC men's basketball along with face painting, bounce houses and much more fun!

Opening Tip
• UNC used a 20-4 run in the second half to defeat Sacramento State 71-52 on Thursday.
• The Bears became the second team this season to score 70-plus points on the Hornets.
• Northern Colorado made 10 3-pointers in the game by five different players.
• Trent Harris led the Bears with 14 points followed by 13 from Jonah Radebaugh and 12 from Sam Masten.
• UNC is a perfect 7-0 at home this year.
• Northern Arizona went on the road and beat Southern Utah on Thursday night 64-61.
• Thursday night's win for the Lumberjacks is just their second in seven games.

Last Time Out
Northern Colorado pulled away from Sacramento State in the second half with a 20-4 run on their way to a 71-52 win. The Bears had a strong defensive game holding the Hornets to 39.6 percent shooting.

Trent Harris caught fire early for the Bears and finished the game as the team's leading scorer with 14 points.

Scouting the Lumberjacks
Under the leadership of interim head coach Shane Burcar, Northern Arizona is 8-7 on the season and 2-4 in Big Sky play. The Lumberjacks have been struggling as of late with just two wins over their last seven games.

A trio of players are averaging double figures scoring for NAU in Cameron Shelton (13.3), Brooks Debisschop (10.7) and Ted McCree (10.2).

While averaging 72.3 points per game on the year, Northern Arizona is only scoring 67.3 points per contest in Big Sky play.

History against Northern Arizona
It's been all about home court in the series between Northern Colorado and Northern Arizona. The Bears hold a 12-3 advantage in Greeley while NAU is 8-5 when playing in Flagstaff.

On This Date
It's a good thing the Bears are playing at home on Saturday as they hold a 10-4 record on the date when at home. Meanwhile, when UNC plays away from Greeley on January 18 they are 1-8.

Around the Big Sky
A pair of road teams picked up a win on Thursday in Northern Arizona and Weber State. NAU, Northern Colorado's next opponent, won at Southern Utah 75-72. WSU beat its rival Idaho State 76-68 in overtime. UNC now sits half a game behind Montana for first place in the Big Sky.

What's Ahead?
Northern Colorado is off until next Saturday when they head to Idaho for an afternoon tip between the Bears and Vandals. The game will tip-off at 3 pm MT.
