Get to know new offensive coordinator Nick Fulton
Northern Colorado football added five new faces to the coaching staff over the offseason, during fall camp learn more about each of them. First up is new Offensive Coordinator Nick Fulton.
Fulton comes to UNC from the Colorado School of Mines where he was the offensive coordinator since 2015. At Colorado School of Mines, Fulton guided one of the top offenses in all of Division II. He was a three-time FootballScoop.com Coordinator of the Year finalist (2015, 2016, and 2018) and helped CSM to the top offense in Division II in both 2016 and 2018.
Why did you get into coaching?
I got into coaching impact young people in a positive way.
Favorite part of being a coach?
Seeing our guys in the locker room after a win.
Who is/are your coaching mentor(s)?
I've been fortunate enough to be around a lot of great coaches but Bob Young who I played for at the University of Sioux Falls. He is a great example to me of being in this profession for the right reasons.
