Northern Colorado baseball has a new addition to the staff in assistant coach Pat Jolley.
"Coach Jolley comes to UNC with a strong background in recruiting, teaching hitters and directing powerful offenses," said UNC head coach Carl Iwasaki. "He has a dynamic personality, which will be a great fit for our clubhouse. We couldn't be more excited to welcome Pat and his family to the Bears baseball family."
Jolley has a coaching history dating back to 2004, but most recently was the associate head coach at Centenary College in Shreveport, L.A. where he recruited and coached six All-Americans and over 50 All-Conference players.
"I have always had a great relationship with coach Iwasaki and I am excited to build off what the current staff has already started," said Jolley.
After starting his coaching career at Bossier Parish Community College, Jolley had a brief stint as a scout for the Pittsburgh Pirates before returning to Centenary where he played for a portion of his collegiate career. In 2003 while a member of the Gents baseball team he was named 1st Team All-Independent Designated Hitter.
"I really like the city of Greeley and everyone at UNC. My family and I are excited to join the Bear family," Jolley said.
Joining Pat as some of the newest members of the community will be his wife Gabi, his son Kanyon and daughter Meagan.
