Take a look back at the numbers that made up the 2018-19 UNC women's basketball season
The 2018-19 season was yet another successful season for the Northern Colorado women's basketball team. It started a new era under first-year head coach Jenny Huth and saw many records fall. Relive it through a deep dive into the numbers that made up the year that was.
3 – Players that earned All-Big Sky honors. Savannah Smith was a unanimous first team selection while Ali Meyer earned third team and Krystal Leger-Walker was named an honorable mention.
4 – The Bears earned their fourth trip to the WNIT in program history.
5.5 – Assists per game average by junior guard Krystal Leger-Walker to lead the Big Sky and ranked 26th in the nation.
7 – Players who earned Academic All-Big Sky honors.
9 – Made 3-pointers by Savannah Smith at Northern Arizona on March 9 to set the program's record for most makes in a game.
10 – 30-plus points games during the 2018-19 season by Savannah Smith.
10.9 – Ali Meyer's rebounds per game to lead the team while ranking second in the Big Sky and 22nd in the NCAA.
12 – 30-plus points games by Savannah Smith in her career, the most by any player in program history.
15 – UNC came back from down 15 points at San Francisco during the non-conference season, their largest comeback of the season. It was one of four games the team overcame a 13-plus point deficit in 2018-19.
19 – 20-plus point games by Savannah Smith, the most in program history.
21 – Blackjack! UNC hit blackjack winning 21 games in 2018-19. First year head coach Jenny Huth tied for the second most wins by a first-year head coach this season. It is also the third straight season the program has won 20-plus games, the best stretch in program history.
21 – Junior forward Abby Kain set a Big Sky Tournament single-game record by grabbing 21 rebounds in the quarterfinal game against Southern Utah. The rebound mark set the program's DI record.
22.8 – Savannah Smith led the Big Sky by averaging 22.8 points and ranked eighth in the NCAA.
40 – The amount of point scored twice by Savannah Smith to set the program's single-game record. She first scored 40 against Montana on February 25 and matched her record in the regular season finale at Northern Arizona on March 9.
44 – Career 20-plus points games for Savannah Smith, the most in program history.
92.8 – Savannah Smith's free throw percentage that ranked third in the NCAA. It is also the best in program history.
110 – Ali Meyer's program record setting offensive rebounds number for a season.
114 – The number of 3-point shots made by Savannah Smith. Breaking her old program record of 80 set in 2016-17.
300 – Career 3-pointers made by Savannah Smith. She is the program's record holder and it is the third most in Big Sky History.
348 – Rebounds by Ali Meyer to set the program record single-season record.
708 – Points scored by Savannah Smith in 2018-19 to break the program's record.
2,013 – Points over Savannah Smith's career to make her UNC women's basketball's all-time leading scorer. The number ranks her sixth in the Big Sky Conference's history.
2,765 – Fans who attended the Bears game against Weber State to set the record for largest attendence at Bank of Colorado Arena for a UNC women's basketball game.
