Cruz leads @UNC_Bears_Golf through first two rounds of Gunrock Invitational

Beah Cruz sits in the top 15 of the Gunrock Invitational after day one.
SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Northern Colorado women's golf competed in the first two rounds of the Gunrock Invitationals in Sacramento, California on Monday ending the day in ninth place. The Bears shot a 608 over the 36-hole first day, improving by six strokes from the first to second round.
Beah Cruz led the way for UNC posting a 73-74 first two rounds. Her total of 147 has her tied for 14th entering Tuesday's final round.
Nicole Polivchak and Morgan Sahm both sit in the top 35 as well with scores of 152 and 153, respectively. Polivchak shot matching 76s. Meanwhile, Sahm cut five strokes off her opening round 79 with an afternoon round 74.
