Despite the outcome being decided, the Bears continued to fight hard, pulling out a win in the No. 6 spot from Synclair Larson, defeating her opponent 1-6, 6-3, 10-7.
Head Coach Chad Stoloff had this to say after the match,
"It was a tough match today, we competed really strong... .great to see Synclair fight back from a set down and pull that match out... .Sandra gave herself chances in a really close three-set loss... .we're getting better, NAU is a very good team... .we are looking forward to our next Big Sky match on Sunday."
The home-stand will continue for the Bears as they look to get their first Big Sky Conference win on the season against Montana State at Work Out West this Sunday at 10 AM.
