UNC had its first slip up in conference play Monday night against Montana State. The Bears had only been topped by the two teams they are fighting for the top spot against. It's time for Northern Colorado to rebound against a team who has made a habit of knocking off the Big Sky's top teams.

- Jordan Davis is still leading the conference at 23.9 points per game.
- He is just now 67 points away from becoming the programs all-time leading scorer.
- UNC has started at least two freshmen in every game this season.

PORTLAND POINTS
- The Vikings have become the giant slayers of the Big Sky. They have four BSC wins and two of those have come against Montana and Weber State, currently the top two teams in the league.
- PSU beat WSU its last time out.
- Holland Woods, 14.5, and Michael Nugu, 10.7, are the two leading scorers for PSU.
- They average nearly 78 points a game and do so while only shooting 28 percent from three.
- Portland State is living up to its nickname on defense leading the conference at nine steals a game.
INSIDE THE MATCHUP
- UNC and Portland State are tied at 77.7 points a game, which is tied for second in the conference.
- They are doing so in very different ways. UNC is third in field goal percentage and PSU is 10th.
- The Bears continue to lead the Big Sky in three-pointers made and the Vikings are again, 10th.
- Both teams are top three in offensive rebounding.
