Bears Drive North to Face Cowgirls

Northern Colorado will return to Laramie for its final non-conference game of the season
After almost two weeks off, Northern Colorado will travel to Laramie, Wyo. to face the Wyoming Cowgirls on Sunday. The game will close out UNC's non-conference schedule for the 2019-20 season.

Opening Tip
Northern Colorado was last on the court against Denver University. UNC fell in the game, 74-55 against the Pioneers. The Bears shot 10 percent from three-point range and 31 percent total for the game. The Pioneers took advantage of UNC's mistakes, scoring 25 points off 22 Bear turnovers. Despite the loss, the Bears out-rebounded the Pioneers, 43 to 40. UNC pulled down 20 offensive rebounds and turned them into 20 points, compared to Denver's 10 boards and 11 second chance points.

As a team, the Cowgirls are shooting 41 percent from the floor.

Northern Colorado has a 7-18 overall record against Wyoming in program history. In Greeley UNC is 3-6 against the Cowgirls, while going 4-12 in Laramie. The two teams met in Women's National Invitational Tournament this past March, with the Wyoming topping the Bears, 68-60.
