Northern Colorado and Cal Poly close out their 2019 seasons on Saturday against each other on Nottingham Field.Â
The Bears are coming home after running out of time to complete its comeback against North Dakota in a 45-38 game. Jaren Mitchell had himself a career day against UND going off for 242 receiving yards on 10 receptions including two for a touchdown.Â
Cal Poly hosted Eastern Washington for their senior day last week almost pulling off the comeback win against the Eagles. After scoring a touchdown with less than five minutes left in the game the Mustangs went for two to go up one but were unsuccessful, losing 42-41.

• Cal Poly is coming off a close loss on senior day to Eastern Washington 42-41. The Mustangs rallied late and went for two and the lead with five minutes left but did not convert.Â
• The Mustangs run the triple-option offense as they average 239.8 yards rushing per game ranking second in the Big Sky and sixth in the FCS.Â
• Duy Tran-Sampson leads the rushing attack for Cal Poly, averaging 90.2 yards per game.Â
• When Poly decides to pass it, they go to JJ Koski who is averaging 21.43 yards per reception.Â
• The Mustangs have struggled to slow down opposing offenses this season allowing 464.1 yards per game and 35.4 points.
