Cruz, Bears Move Up Leaderboard Tuesday

Northern Colorado women's golf moved up the leaderboard on Tuesday at the New Mexico State Aggie Invitational
LAS CRUCES, N.M. – Both Northern Colorado women's golf and Beah Cruz moved up the leaderboard on Tuesday at the New Mexico State Aggie Invitational. The Bears moved into the top 10 with a round of 307 to be tied with UC Irvine for 10th. Beah Cruz shot a 1-over, 73 to move up 12 spots from the start of the day to be tied for 15th.
Cruz started her round with a birdie on her first hole, the par 4 seventh, and was as low as 2-under during the round.
Abbi Fleiner also had a pair of birdies on the day for the Bears coming on the par 4 third and par 5 fifteenth hole
.
Sophomore Jenna Chun had the second-best round of the day for UNC shooting a 4-over 76. She enters tomorrow's final round tied for 40th.
What's Ahead
Northern Colorado closes out its fall season with the final round of the New Mexico State Aggie Invitational with an 8 am shotgun start. The Bears will tee off on holes 7-10. Live results of the round can be found here.
