Bears Continue Their Sweeps in Conference Play Against Eastern Washington

Greeley, Colo.- The Bears open this weekend of volleyball with a sweep against Eastern Washington University, 3-0. This game keeps the Bears in first place in conference play as they are now 5-0 in the Big Sky.
Set one was quick and easy as Kailey Jo Ince lead the team with four kills, followed by Mckenna Palmer at three. With an overall .300 attack percentage the Bears took set one 25-12 over the Eagles.
Taylor Els and Kyndall Feather continue to lead the team in digs as they both entered set two with Els at six, and Feathers at five digs.
Through set two, senior Taylor Muff put up four crucial kills, four digs, and two solo blocks against the Eagles. As a team, the Bears had four blocks and dominated the Eagles in set two, 25-15.
Set three was a point-for-point set to start, however the Bears found their rhythm as Ince, and freshman Makenzie Harris, had four kills each. Harris was sitting at a .444 attack percentage by the end of the game.
The Bears swung 44 total kills against the Eagles with a .241 attack percentage. By the end Els had 17 digs and behind her was Daisy Schultz at 12. Â
What's Next
While this was a quick game for the Bears, they're ready to take on Idaho tomorrow back at home with a start time of 1pm.
