•The win is the first of head coach Jenny Huth's career.
• Krystal Leger-Walker scored a career-high 22 points in the win for UNC to lead the team.

• The Rams are 1-1 to open the year, taking care of Eastern New Mexico easily on opening night before falling to rival Colorado last week.
Scouting the Rams
Colorado State has split its first two games of the season defeating Eastern New Mexico to open the season and falling to rival Colorado in their road opener.
Like usual under head coach Ryun Williams, CSU relies on its defense to get the job done, holding teams to 52.5 points per game and 25.9 percent shooting. While the Rams are holding their opponents to a low shooting percentage, teams are getting plenty of second chances against them as opponents have grabbed 25.0 offensive boards per game.
On the offensive end of the floor, Colorado State has three players averaging double figures, led by Lore Devos' 16.0. Teammate Mollie Mounsey is the sharpshooter for the Rams making seven 3-pointers of their first two games on her way to scoring 13.0 ppg.
History against Colorado State
Northern Colorado and Colorado State used to be in the same conference from 1975-80 playing twice a year with UNC holding the upper hand during that time including winning six straight at one point. The Rams controlled the series from1979-2006 winning 15 straight games to help them earn a 23-12 advantage in the series. The Bears and Rams have been back and forth since 2006, with CSU currently on a three-game win streak.
Against the Mountain West
Northern Colorado has plenty of history against Mountain West schools including CSU, Air Force and Wyoming. The Bears have played 10 of the 11 schools in the conference only missing Fresno State on its list. In the 126 games played against the Mountain West, UNC is 51-75.
On This Date
Playing on November 20th has been a good day for UNC who is 9-5 on it. All nine wins have come at home though as they are 9-1 on the date. When playing on the road, Northern Colorado is 0-3 last playing away from Greeley in 2012 when they lost to Utah 62-55.
Long Time Coming
Stepping on the court for Ali Meyer will be a bittersweet moment as it's been a long time coming for the senior forward. After sitting out the 2016-17 season due to transfer rules, Meyer missed last season with a leg injury just before the year started.
Foul trouble has slowed her through the first two games of the season, but she showed Bears fans it was well worth the wait to get her on the court. Meyer recorded her first career double-double as a Bear in the teams win over Denver. She scored 10 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in the team's first win of the season.
Filling Up the Stat Sheet
Krystal Leger-Walker has been dropping dimes since she first stepped on campus in Greeley in 2016 and has not slowed down since. The now junior, averaged 3.7 assists last season, accumulating 119 assists, the 13th most in a single season for the program.
Now in her third season as a Bear, she has 244 assists putting her in the top 15 all-time.
Leger-Walker had the best scoring night of her career against Denver when she ended with a career-high 22 points. She made 9 of her 12 field goal attempts including a trio of 3-pointers. Not only was she scoring in the game, but also dishing the ball out with six assists.
She has been filling up the stat sheet all year long averaging 14.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 1.3 steals per game.
Inside Presences
Bridget Hintz has grown into a solid inside presence for Northern Colorado and had a career nigh against Denver. The junior recorded her first career double-double with 11 points and 14 rebounds. Six of her 14 rebounds came on the offensive end.
For the year, she is tied with teammate Ali Meyer for the team lead in rebounds at 7.3 per game.
What's Ahead?
Northern Colorado will spend Thanksgiving in the Bay Area. UNC continues its three-game road trip by taking on San Francisco on Friday. Tip-off between the Bears and Dons is set for 3 pm MT.
